For your first class, please plan to arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your class to complete our new student intake form. For following classes, please arrive at least five minutes before class to get checked in and settled. You will be unable to enter once class has started.
Q: Do I need to tell anyone that I am new to practicing yoga or am new to the studio?
Yes! Be sure to let your teacher know if there is anything important to know about you, like an injury, any experience (or lack of) with yoga, etc. Please let your teacher know if you have concerns of any kind.
Q: What do I need to bring?
Bring your own mat. We also recommend a bottle of water.

Q: I've never practiced yoga before, I have an injury, or I feel out of shape! Which yoga class is best for me?
We believe that yoga is for EVERY BODY! We invite all levels of ability, all sizes, all races, and all genders to join us for practice. For students who are new to practicing yoga or who feel they are dealing with limitations in the body, we recommend starting in our slower-moving classes such as Restorative, MyoYin, Gentle and Yoga Foundations. All of our classes are designed to accommodate all levels and abilities. All poses can be modified and your teacher will help you use props as needed to make each posture accessible.
Q: How often should I practice yoga?
As often as you can! Practicing once a week can change your mind. Practicing three times a week can change your body. Practicing five times a week can change your life!
Q: I'm intimidated about practicing in a group class. Is there another, more private way for me to learn yoga?
Yes, absolutely! We offer private yoga sessions which can be one-on-one or in a small group. It's a really great way to receive more attention from the teacher, have the ability to ask questions mid-practice, and build your yoga practice confidence. Please CLICK HERE to learn more.
