I started my Yoga journey in 2007 as a New Year’s Resolution and have never regretted a moment of it. Up until then, I was a weekend warrior backpacking all over the Southeast and Southwest, I played tennis 5 times a week and basically ruined my shoulders, knees and ankles. Seeking a gentler and more spiritual activity, I discovered the challenges of Yoga, which brought together the physical, mental and spiritual challenges that I had been searching for in my adult life. In 2017 I earned my 200hr RYT Certification at The Yoga Source in Snellville and immediately started to teach there. I had finally found my jam. Realizing that I would always be a student and wanting to take my practice further I enrolled in a 300 hr. program at Johns Creek Yoga Studio which was led by Sheila Ewers. I have earned teaching certificates in Restorative, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Trauma Sensitive and Aerial Yoga, and enjoy teaching them all. I am now retired and enjoy giving back to the community by teaching Yoga.
